Like many couples, we met in the most unexpected of clichéd ways. It was one of those serendipitous moments that felt completely like a movie, where fate steps in, the stars align, and our paths crossed. It all started years ago, in the most romantic city in Europe of course, the kind of place where you can’t throw a kebab without hitting a couple in love— Rzeszów! The story takes place on a Polish folk dance choreography course— Thommy was new on the scene; a wildly charming wide-eyed dreamer, with big ambitions and an unconventional flair for both choreography and life. Agusia by contrast was already a well-established course member, part dancer, part celestial being, lighting up the room with her glowing smile and whimsical charm. This balance in energy created is what could only be called a dynamic. The kind where one person enthusiastically dances one bar ahead; while Agusia professionally refrains from laughing.

From the start, we bonded over our love of music and folklore. Between the whirl of 8am classes and 2am party study sessions, we found quiet solace sitting on the cold floor of the hallways, talking about our lives, dreams, and getting lost gazing into eachothers eyes the night sky.
